Create a Marquee Banner (rotating text)
A Marquee is text that rotates.
They are less popular, if not rare, on websites these days. You can create one by using some basic HTML in a block.
First add a Custom HTML block where you want the Marquee to go.
You can also type /HTML to select it.
In the block paste all of the following:
<marquee><font color ="red"> "STOP PRESS: THEATRE OUTING: Life with SiteWorks. Anytown Civic Hall, Sunday 29th June, 7.30pm. Cost of ticket, maximum £27, depending on numbers, Reservations and further information. ann.other@somewhere.com"</font></marquee>The text can be changed by editing between the double quotes from “STOP PRESS to somewhere.com”
